Hello!
Happy Good Friday - at least what's left of it! I was lucky enough to have a bank holiday from work today so after taking my hubby to work I chillaxed with some card making before heading into town with my Daughter and Aunt for an Easter Egg Hunt, Costa coffee and a spot of shopping. Tomorrow I am off on a day trip with the girls to Aberdeen for a bit more shopping, food and cocktails - I can't wait!
Here's a photo of Iona at the Egg Hunt in Inverness Victorian Market.
So the story behind this card is one of my pals is hosting a craft fair next month and I am going to have a table. I need to get my stock up so I thought a quick way would be to make some cards without images so I bowsed through Pinterest for inspiration then got out my Big Shot, dies and punches instead and got creative. The fact that I got to use up some odd scraps is a bonus!
The layout for this one came from Pinterest.
Papers from Hobbycraft Springtime 6x6 pack, X-cut corner punch, Spellbinders square dies, Fiskars Threading Water border die and Personal Impressions sentiment stamp.
Expect to see a few more 'Cards from Scraps' in the coming weeks!
Hope you all have a fab Easter Weekend.
Hugs, Shona xx
