Good evening,
I'm glad to say this isn't quite such a late post tonight! Tonight's card is one I made last night and it's for a work colleague and her husband to commemorate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday. It doesn't seem like a year since Rab and I shared in their wedding day celebrations.
The papers I've used are Forever Friends Timeless 12x12's which I've layered with textured gold card. The image is actually a cardstock sticker from the FF Black and Gold collection as is the border sticker. The sentiment is by LOTV and all dies used are by X-cut. The ribbon bow was an experiment that I think I've just about pulled off - I've never used 2 ribbons together before, both of these are by Anita's. I've added various gems and pearls to finish off my card.
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Bye for now,

With Sympathy
Hello,
Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend, sadly in Scotland we don't generally get this holiday so in my case it was business as usual.
Tonight's card unfortunately is a Sympathy Card as one of Rab's relatives passed away yesterday after a long illness. I always struggle a bit with making cards like this as it is difficult to find just the right thing.
I've used a decoupage and sentiment set from Papermania's Just to Say range. The ready made lilac card blank is from an old goody bag and I've used the same colour of pearlised card to mount the decoupaged image onto. I've kept the rest of it quite simple with white pearlised card embossed using a butterflies folder, ribbon, fancy ribbon bow and pearls to finish.
I wish to enter this card into the following challenges

Crafty Ribbons - #46 Anything Goes With Ribbons

Christmas Huskies
Good evening,
Well it's been quite a busy fortnight since my last post and I must apologise for not leaving comments on the blogs I follow and for not welcoming my new followers! First we had Iona's competition in Glasgow (They came fourth in their group which sounds good but there were only four teams in their group lol. However, they danced very well but the other teams were just so good. None the less they got a cracking trophy to take home). Then my Aunt got home from hospital yesterday, so the last few days have been a whirlwind of phone calls and home visits to make sure everything was in place for her. She is settling back into home life really well after almost 6 months in hospital and remarkably is still able to do most things for herself.
So on to my card, I've been trying hard to keep up with the current round of the A-Z colour challenge over at Docrafts. We are on letter D and this fortnight's colours were Denim Blue and Daffodil Yellow. As you can see I've gone for the blue option...

The topper is one by Mo Manning from Wee Stamps. I love this 'Eskimo Kisses' range and sadly I think there's now only 2 toppers left. The papers are Kanban ones that came free with a magazine which I've layered with indigo linen effect paper, and the sentiment stamp is another freebie. The card is finished off with pearls, spotty organza ribbon and twine topped with a 'Special Delivery' fabric covered brad from Trimcraft.
I'm hoping now that hospital visits are well and truly off the agenda and my Aunt settles more that I'll have more time to devote to my card making again, so watch this space...

Another Christmas One!
Hi folks,
I'm back with another Christmas card tonight. I made it last night but didn't get around to uploading the photo. Since I'm away tomorrow for a couple of days I thought I'd better get posting! Iona and I are off to Glasgow for a Cheerleading competition, she is soooooo excited and will be needing scraped off the ceiling by bedtime tomorrow!!! I hope they do well as they have had a lot of extra training lately and have been working hard.
Onto my card. I won this stamped image in a challenge over at the Docrafts website but I have no idea who the bear is! If anyone has any ideas please let me know lol! I have coloured said nameless bear in with Promarkers and added a little glitter for the snow.

The papers are all from the Forever Friends A Christmas Tale collection and have been matted and layered with red cardstock. The stamped sentiment is one from a set that came free with a magazine a few months back and has been mounted on green and red die cut card circles. The card is finished off with organza ribbon, card candi and gems.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Christmas Carols
Hello,
It's been such a busy day today, whoever said Sunday was the day of rest has obviously never visited my house lol. I'm just glad I'm also off tomorrow for the bank holiday, maybe it will be a little more relaxing.
I'm back to making Christmas cards again tonight as I still need to catch up with the Snoflake's challenge over on the Docrafts website! I've had this digi image printed off for ages and I've never got around to colouring it until last night! It is by Dearie Dolls and sadly when I went to find the link to post it is no longer available.
The image has been coloured with Promarkers to match the Kanban and magazine freebie papers. All the papers have been matted with kraft cardstock and kraft has also been used for the Paula Pascual sentiment stamp. I've finished off the card with ribbon, pearls, gems, glitter and a humungous button tied with more ribbon.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge #40 - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter Challenge #110 - Music Maestro
I Love Promarkers Challenge #166 - Put a Button On It

Pink and Girly!
Hello!
Gosh I'm quite late posting tonight. Friday is quickly becoming a must craft night! I don't get much time through the week so I try to make up for it at the weekend. The good news is this is a long weekend so no work or school until Tuesday yay! Poor Rab though, it's his weekend on so he doesn't get a day off until Tuesday.
Tonight's card is very pink and has a Tilda stamped image so it's quite different from my usual style. I do always enjoy colouring Tilda though, I really must treat myself to more Magnolia stamps.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used some Star Dust Stickles to highlight the wand. I've layered the image on to pink cardstock cut with an X-cut scalloped rectangle nesting die. The stars and the scalloped circle are also cut using X-cut dies. The papers are a mix of Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses and My Minds Eye Quite Contrary. I've finished the card with organza ribbon, gems and buttons from the new Papermania Summer Brights Capsule Collection. The sentiment is by LOTV.
