Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge #50

Good morning!

A scheduled post again today to share my DT card for the latest Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge as always the theme is 'anything Christmas goes' and we'd love to see you there!

It's been quite a busy weekend celebrating my friend's 50th birthday, mine won't be that far behind, just a few months!  Anyway, we're back to normality now and looking forward to another weekend away at Cheer Comp in Glasgow.  I must do some research to see if there's any good craft shops nearby, even a Range would be good!

Anyhoo, back to my card.  As we're a just for fun challenge the DT have free reign on what they use on their creations and this time I've gone for a Magnolia stamp.  I never tire of colouring this one!  The papers are ancient Docrafts ones that came as a freebie with one of their magazines.

Materials Used:
Rubber Stamp - Magnolia Ice Tilda
Promarkers
Designer Papers - Docrafts 12 Days of Christmas
Snowflake & circle dies - X-cut
Scalloped circle die - Spellbinders
Sentiment stamp - LOTV
Cardstock, button, twine and gems from stash

That's all for just now, have a great day.

Hugs,
Shona xx

Bingo With The Cutie Pies

Good Morning,

Another scheduled post from me, I'm definitely getting more organised!  Today I'm sharing my latest DT card for the Cutie Pie Challenge, our theme is Bingo and I had the pleasure of choosing the theme and hosting this month's challenge.  As always we ask you to also include a cute character on your creation as well as sticking to the current theme.

We are sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who have a fantastic prize for our lucky winner.

Usual Bingo rules apply - any line across, down or diagonal or a full house!

Here's my card for the challenge using a fab image from Di's that was a freebie over at Kit & Clowder a couple of weeks ago.  I can't find it in their shop but there's lots of similar and equally cute images to choose from!

I've gone for 2 lines and used Button/Twine/Flowers/Stripes/Spots

Materials used:
Digi Stamp - Di's Digital Stamps (K&C Freebie)
Promarkers
Sentiment Stamp - Personal Impressions
Dies - X-cut
Patterned Papers - MME Happy Day
Cardstock, button and twine from stash

Why not come and join us this month and enjoy a game of crafty bingo!

Love and hugs,
Shona xx

Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge #49

Good Morning,

Another scheduled post from me as I'm working today.  Mind you I can't complain as I had the May Day Bank Holiday yesterday and it was fab to have a 3 day weekend!  The only downside of the weekend has been the really cold weather we've had for the last few days.  The temperature has dropped by 15-20 degrees and my central heating is back on big time!  I can hardly believe that just a fortnight ago on Easter Monday we had an afternoon sunbathing on the beach.  Hopefully this cold spell with be short lived and we will be back to the beach and bbq's before long!

Anyway, since it's feeling quite wintery (we've even had some snow!) my DT card for the Holly & Ivy Christmas Challenge seems all the more seasonal this fortnight!  As always our theme is 'Anything Christmas Goes' and is a just for fun challenge.

For my card this fortnight I've used 2 gorgeous chubby robin images that I coloured some time back, they are both from the same set by Hobby Art Stamps.

Materials used:
Clear Stamp Set - Round Robins by Hobby Art Stamps
Promarkers
Sentiment Stamp Set - LOTV
Snowflake Die - X-cut
Papers - Magazine Freebies Raspberry Road
Cardstock, Button and Twine from Stash

Thanks for calling by today, it's much appreciated.

Hugs,
Shona

Good Luck at Worlds!

Good evening,

I've just popped on to share a card I made to wish 2 of my daughter's team mates good luck at the ICU Cheerleading Worlds competition in Florida where they will be representing their country with Team Scotland.  They are taking part in the Junior Pom division next week and we are ever so proud of their commitment and dedication even to get through the training to get this far as each training session meant over a 200 mile round trip.  Well done girls, we can't wait to watch you!

I've coloured Tilda's outfit to be as close to the Team Scotland costume as possible.

Materials used:
Magnolia Rubber Stamp - Cheer Leader Tilda
Promarkers
Papers - Dovecraft Back To Basics, True Blue
3D Elements - Express Yourself MIP
Sentiment - Personal Impressions Big Sentiments by Paula Pascual
Stickles Glitter Glue - Stardust
Cardstock, button, twine and gems from stash

Thanks for taking a peek,

Hugs,
Shona xx
