Layer it up with the Cutie Pies

Good morning!

And it's a scheduled post from me today.  I've got the day off today because it's a very special day!  Not only do we have a new challenge starting with the Cutie Pies but it's my Auntie Winnie's 94th birthday!  As she lives with us we can celebrate with her in person and I'm going to surprise her with an afternoon tea with lots of homebakes.  Since she can't go out the afternoon tea will come to her!  If the weather is nice we will have it in the garden if not indoors.  As my daughter's vegan I've experimented with a BBC Good Food Vegan Victoria Sponge recipe - it seems to have worked ok, it hasn't risen as much as it usually would but some jam and butter cream (vegan butter) will soon sort out it's appearance!  The plan is to have got up early to do some more baking so I do hope I've got out of my bed at a decent time lol!

Anyhoo back to the reason for my post, I'm sharing my card for this month's theme - Layer it up!  We are sponsored by the fantastic Bugaboo Digital Stamps who must have one of the biggest selections of digis out there - they really do have designs to suit every occasion.  I've chosen a cute bee design for my card and I've teamed it with some bold and funky patterned papers from JMC Designs - one of the other Design Teams I'm on, I think they work really well with the image!
